I think this was sent out to "Little Joe" in either 1989 or 1990. Pre-internet I used an autograph address book to find where my favorite players lived (can't think of who produced it). I remember that at the time Joe was working for an Oakland radio station, and I had no clue whether he signed TTM, or not. The 1984 Topps card I sent had sentimental ties to the '83 Series for me. It was difficult for me to send it out, but faith was rewarded when it came back signed a few weeks later. I've had it displayed some way or another ever since.

Note: Joe Morgan does still respond to TTM through the Hall of Fame. He no longer will sign the item you send, but has pre-signed index cards for the Hall, and if you write you'll get one of those.
