SGA Preview: Phillies, Star Wars Night
The Phillies recently announced they will be hosting a Star Wars theme night on August 22nd. The promotion which encourages fans to come to the game dressed as their favorite character, is a well-worn favorite of sports teams across the country.
A highlight of the night is the inclusion of an exclusive SGA for the first 1,000 fans buying reserved, theme-night tickets. The giveaway is a baseball designed to look like the Death Star. It is mounted on a black base with "Star Wars" and the Phillies "P" logo on one side, and "Citizens Bank Park Exclusive" on the other. Size of the "Death Ball" is hard to determine from the photo. Similar to the process for Stitch N' Pitch Night, those who purchase tickets in the section will receive a coupon which can be redeemed at the game.
