Week of May 19, 2014
Highlights from this week include the ongoing series of team postcards being given out by the Reading Fightin' Phils. Four different cards from the series (1983, 1995, 2000 and the make-up 1968) are being released - closing out the run with the current seasons' team card on Wednesday.
The big club will be back over the weekend when black wiffle ball bats will be handed out to kids 14 and under. It has been a few years since the Phillies have held a "bat day" - and it was a little disappointing to see them come back with a wiffle ball bat (instead of a nice, wood one) - but, the kids won't care.
