Whoops! February Phanatic Available Early
Stuff happens... And as proof, a recent slip-up resulted in the February Phanatic of the Month bobble head (briefly) being posted for sale in the Phillies online store. The bobble head, which is based on the book, "Phillie Phanatic's Happiest Memories," is set for release on Monday, February 2nd.
The error was identified by Phillies bobble head super-collector, @Bobble_Phanatic. Browsing through the team's online store he noticed the image of Phanatic not yet in his collection and sent out a Tweet stating, "I think the @Phillies posted the wrong picture for this! This bobble hasn't been released yet!"
Mislabeled online as the "August" Phanatic, the bobble was available for at least a couple days - and was successfully purchased by a few collectors, including Paul Culbertson (@KulbysCollectNJ) who posted a picture of his newest addition last week (below). Paul also made note of the potential source of the error - the item code on the bobble's base which seems to reference August 2014.
