Cody Asche Pitches In
With tickets for the Phillies Phestival on sale this week, the team has begun promoting their annual ALS awareness and fundraising campaign. It was announced via email on Friday that Phillies third baseman, Cody Asche is pitching in this season - designing a t-shirt, with net proceeds benefiting the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
The red, '47 Brand t-shirt emblazoned with the slogan, "Together We Fight" will be on sale in the Citizens Bank Park, Majestic Store this weekend. And, to help sales, Asche will be signing autographs in the store for anyone who purchases a shirt from Noon-1 PM on Saturday morning (limit 4).
