2015 Theme Nights: Star Wars and Stitch N' Pitch

Thanks to fellow collector, Mark Benedetto for the heads-up!  The Phillies released details on the Star Wars Theme Night SGA earlier this week.  The first 2,000 fans to purchase tickets for the theme night will receive a Phillies-themed Star Wars t-shirt.  The shirt is red and features the Phanatic as Obi-Wan Kenobi.  After the previews I've seen from around the league for other team's Star Wars nights, this is a little bit of a let down for me...

The Phillies recently added two familiar Theme Nights to their 2015 promotional calendar: Star Wars Night and Stitch N Pitch Night.  Collectors will remember both of these themes from last season - which resulted in two of the better giveaways handed out in 2014.  While details for both are still slim, I have been told information on the giveaways will be released within the next few weeks...

Stitch N Pitch Night

Tuesday, August 25th - 7:05 PM vs. NY Mets

Easily overlooked by non-needle-art enthusiasts, Stitch N Pitch is returning for a 9th season at Citizens Bank Park.  Directed toward fans who like to knit, crochet, etc - collectors bought up tickets last season for the right to own a mini-Phanatic bobble head.  Though more widely available than it's 2010 predecessor, the 2014 Phanatic remains a popular item. 

The first 1,000 fans buying tickets for the theme night will receive a coupon for an exclusive Stitch N Pitch giveaway.  No details have been released on this year's gift - so, stay tuned to see whether or not it has wider appeal.   Buy Tickets - use password: STITCH
