2013 - 14 Panini National Treasures Hockey
Panini finally unleashed National Treasures on hockey fans this past week - and man, is it impressive!
Known for it's eye-catching, hit-laden (and expensive) packs, National Treasures has become one of the most impressive brands over the past few years - and this release keeps the tradition going. According to Becket News, packs contain eight (8) cards: two base cards (or parallels), one booklet card, one printing plate, one Rookie Patch, one autographed memorabilia card and two additional "hits." Some of the more interesting sub-sets included are the "Buried Treasure" cards, with an embedded Stanley Cup Trophy (with and without autographs) and "Flawless" which feature a chunk of diamond. Bobby Clarke is featured in both.
Talking about what you'll find in the set is good, but seeing some of the cards is better! While there are several Flyers-themed cards to be found, I figured I would pick out a few featuring Clarke...
